Hope 360 Initiative For Peace Awarded Borno State CAN Chairman As Peace Fighter Ambassador. Due to his contribution in fighting for Peace in Borno State. the Great Award which was presented to him before his Congregation on 7th April, 2019. Bishop Williams Mohammed Abubakar Naga is the third child of eight children, born November 1959, to the family of  Mallam Abubakar Naga and Amina (first cousin with the Emir of Gwoza, his royal highness, late Alhaji Shehu Mustapha Idris Tinta) The most honourable traditional ruler who carries all in his chiefdom, he is a gift to us from God.
Bishop William M.A. Naga academic pursuit began at Bokko Central Primary School in the year 1966, thereafter left the school and wandered away.  He came back after 5 years with a strong desire and commitment to further his academic pursuit, and was by the grace of God able to complete primary education at Agapalawa Mission Basel Primary School in 1977.
  The year 1977 was to be a year of wonder and great turning point in his life as he invited the Lord Jesus into the Ship of His life as his sole Captain, Anchor and Saviour, more to mention was a Divine encounter, in which the Lord Jesus appeared to Him as a young boy on 20th February 1977.

In a fruitful attempt to further his academic pursuit, he attended government Secondary School Geidam 1977-1982. This he was able to do by the grace of God in the face of diverse challenges, with few assistance, which may be largely attributed to his conversion to Christianity.
Things have not been easy; disappointment, frustration, loneliness,  hunger and all sorts of lack. God remained faithful. He saw him through persecutions. He proceeded to Borno College of Basic Studies 1983-1985, obtained a higher school certificate (IJMB).
Archbishop Benson A. Idahosa of Blessed memory was a man of change and focus in Northern Nigeria. He had a crusade in 1985 after which he gave to twelve indigenes of Borno State scholarship to study the word of God at All Nation for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City [1985-1986]. He also attended University of Maiduguri between 1992-1995 (Bsc. Public Administration), Jos Evangelical Church Winning All seminary (JETS) affiliated to the University of Jos (1997-1998).
He served the Christian Community at different capacities; Pastored many churches and held positions.
· First Assistant Pastor of Church of God Mission Headquarters Maiduguri – 1987-1988.
· The Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN) Regional Church Council Sectary 1990-1992.
· Taught at COCIN Bible School Limankara Gwoza.
· Borno State Youth CAN chairman 1994-2001.
· Borno state CAN General Secretary 2002-2004
· Chaplain South Battalion Council Boys Brigade.
· Life Chaplain 100 Borno Company.
· Director of Public Relation and Security CAN Borno.
· Grand Patron BB Borno State Council.
· Peace Ambassador (UN Youth Federation).
· Member PFN Borno Advisory Council
· National Vice Chairman SSO North East region.
· Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Chairman Borno State Chapter.
· Presently CAN Chairman Borno State.
From his family, his mother, Amina Abubakar accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour in 2008, his elder brother’s son Ali Adamu also accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Joy Shehu was brought up in the family as a daughter and got married and is blessed with two children.
He is married to Hauwa Umar on 29th July 1989, who has been his partner in the ministry. They are blessed with four (4) children, Barzillai, Keturah, El-Nuria and Zithri and five grandchildren.
