False Accusation on Dr Wakawa from opponents about WEAC Fee

ATTENTION PLEASE: MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AND ESPECIALLY THE GOOD PEOPLE OF BORNO SOUTH.

We, the Teachers of BMDSS Maiduguri wishes to state that we are not politicians, we are teachers but as citizen we have all the rights to exercise our civic rights to participate in democratic processes.

We don't dabble into political matters and issues  but our attention has been drawn to a comment credited to One Southern Borno brother Amos Adziba on Facebook today 8th March, 2018 that "Dr Wakawa Hyelladzira Musa PhD the Senatorial Aspirant for Borno South, swallowed Children WAEC Money while in our school (BMDSS)".  This comment was not only against Dr Wakawa but the good reputation of Brigadier Maimalari Day Secondary School.

Therefore, we deemed it very necessary and timely to respond and refute that such thing never happened. Dr Wakawa while with us has been a refined teacher that our students always run to when in problems and look up to as their mentor.

If the purported allegation is anything to go by,  we will say it is  frivolous, false and ignorantly made without basis because fees are not paid to teachers but school bursars. Let it be on record that such thing never happened in this school by anyone not to talk of Dr Wakawa.  

In this school,  students don't pay fees to teachers but to school bursar and Dr Wakawa has always  been a teacher not a bursar and there was no any occasion that Dr Wakawa was appointed to handle such responsiblility. Therefore, associating him with WAEC money (fees) is false and politically motivated.

In fact it is worthy of note that Dr Wakawa is the only staff that uses his salary to solve students problems especially when it comes to WAEC registration. Anyone is free to come to the school and confirm this.

We remembered, there's is this Widow who brought a child whose father was murdered by Boko haram in 2013 to be registered in JSS 1, on seeing the helpless widow who was begging for reduction of the fee,  Dr Wakawa felt so sorry for the woman and paid the registration fee for the widow' s child. Our admission officer in person of Mr Mohammed Abubakar Zoaka can still attest to this because it is still fresh in our minds.

Some time,  as a colleague we usually wonder how he's surviving with a family while using the chunk of his salary  solving children's problems but he always say God is faithful and givers never lack.

Therefore, it is unfair and demonic to raise such an allegation against an innocent man, dedicated and humane person as Dr Wakawa simply because he is nursing an ambition to serve his people.

Dr Wakawa has all the qualities to be a good leader and to represent with a difference. As his colleagues we are proud of him and we are sure he will make us proud if given the opportunity to serve.

Consequent upon this, let this be on record once again that Dr Wakawa Hyelladzira Musa PhD has never been in custody of any money in the school and have never been involved in any money scandal while with us because this has never been either in the past nor present that our school experience any issue with money and  such thing never happened in our school.
